Math Coaches!

Do you love teaching and want to make meaningful change in student achievement by providing professional development for teachers of mathematics in grades three through eight?

Do you hate school bureaucracy and want to concentrate on instructional issues?

Consider the position of Math Coach with LLTeach, Inc. serving in districts in New Jersey, both North Jersey near New York City and Central/South Jersey near Philadelphia.

Qualifications:  Flexible, energetic, enthusiastic candidates must have at least 5 years teaching experience (10 preferred), excellent presentation and people skills, a belief all students can learn and an uncompromising passion for teaching. A strong knowledge of mathematics and standards-based math instruction, appropriate for the target grade level or grade-level grouping is required. A demonstrated interest in on-going professional development either as a participant or a presenter is a plus.

Extensive training and professional development is provided for coaches, both as initial hires and throughout employment period.

Contracts: 200 days (11 month) $80,000; 150 days (10 month) $60,000. Benefits.
